thanks it has LT header with SLP Loudmouth 1, plus we were going through a tunnel :) but hopefully I'll get some times with it this year

That was the non-pi 4.6 btw, so not as fast as the newer ones, but my car seems to run pretty strong. I just bought it last fall from the original owner with 50k miles on it bone stock. I did all the mods over the winter and this was actually the first time I had it out for the season so I wasnt even used to it yet. Still short shifting it a bit too, only around 56-5700 rpm. i was very impressed with it over other cars ive been in.

yeah but as hard as I pulled on that a pi with the same mods would not be much different

NPI mustangs are slow as all hell compared to pi and pi swapped mustangs tend to make more hp then pi mustangs, if that makes any sense

good kill non the less!!!!

no problem, and since im hear to learn about LT1s quick question for you....

when you guys say umi suspension WTF are you tlking about? i know its a brand but wat does that usually consist off?

like i say i have drag suspension cuz i have lca/uca/springs/shocks/struts but i know somebody who has "umi suspension" but im pretty sure just SFC and his shocks/springs/etc are stock

He had O/R mid pipe (cant remember if it was h or x), cat back, intake, the nitrous was a wet kit btw. and he had 3.73 gears he said. we stopped and talked a while after and then cruised, seemed like a pretty cool guy.

not trying to talk your kill down in any way but i think if it was PI or PI swapped it would have been quite a bit faster

Yeah ur right, i just listed a brand name. I didnt really take the time to list everything so I just kinda jotted a few keypoints of both cars lol but suspension should really be one of the first mods, makes a huge difference. on my mustang, I had lakewood 90/10s, rear 50/50s, eibach drag launch with right side air bag, and upper/lower control arms

oh im sure it would have been seeing theres like a 50 hp difference between the two... pi swap cars seems to run really good, dont they have a bit higher compression than a 99-04 GT?

as far as i know that is the reason why tuned pi swap cars make more hp then otherwise stock pi mustangs

Great kill! It's too bad those 1996-98 GT's are so slow because they look great! It does make it very impressive when you run across a fast one, though.
