Hey guys,
Well today was a day that I probably will never forget. :metal: Back in October, I purchased an LT1 to do an engine swap. Fast forward a little over 5 months, 7 grand spent, and today was the day to fire her up.
The real thing to also keep in mind is that this engine was purchased without hearing it run - and we couldn't even crank it over manually because the bolt was missing from the crank snout on the front. I started this project barely knowing how to do anything mechanical and I've learned TONS along the way.
Stats: LT1, CC503 cam, 1.6 pro mag roller rockers, comp cams hardened pushrods, heads milled 0.010", fel pro head gaskets, 30# injectors, rebuild performance 4L60e transmission (should be able to handle about 800hp I guess?), 9.5" custom built torque converter... I guess it will stall 2600 to 3400 depending on rpms with a 2.0 STR.
Alright, time for the videos! :metal: :metal:
