Ok so today on my way home from a job(about 2 hours away) I found a firehawk in a little car lot on the side of a country road. Its red. A hardtop. A auto car. Only had 94,000 miles. It looks like it has Sat for a LONG time. The paint was so dirty. It deff. needs a good wash, wax, buff, etc. the left rear tailight had water all in it and when I opened the trunk it had a Puddle of water in the hole section. I guess its got a leak around the tailight cause the water in the tailight. I pulled up the carpet and it wasn't rusted and didn't look like it has had water in it long. still looked brand new under the carpet. the tires are dry rotten from sitting so long. It still has the firehawk wheels on it.

how much do you think its worth? I am gonna call them tomorrow since they were closed when I was there. Strange they leave all there cars unlocked when no one is there. Also the car had cloth interior. It had the firehawk plate on the ash tray. I was a # in the 90's. want to say 94.

also the end of the vin is 94 so its a 94 right?

Offer them $1500 bellow what they're asking and tell them it's been sitting too long and needs a complete fluid swap and new tires.

well yes. I plan to low ball the crap out of them. It will need that. Also neew carpet in the back and a new tailight. So I think that will have to make them come down alittle. Also the paint is so dull it looks faded but it an be buffed. I will say the paint is faded and it needs paint lol.

any idea of what you guys think its worth being a low mileage hawk? I mean it only has 94,000. thats not that bad for 15 years old.

Sounds like they either don't know what it's worth or they don't really need the money.

Hopefully since they've been trying to sell it for so long they really think about your offer. Even if they decline, they may just take awhile to think it over and see that they are wanting too much for it. Let us know what happens.

there last ad was 3 weeks ago and its 6800. alittle better but still way to high. I think if I bring up the leak, taillight problem, paint and tires and show that thats alot of money and work they will come down. I hope.

I bought my '93 in 9/08 with around 92,000 on it, in great running shape, pretty heavily modded for performance, good interior/exterior shape, paid $5500.00 and haven't had to put much money into it at all. Mine also has leather, t-tops and auto.

If they're sitting on their price because of what it is and could potentially be worth someday... hey, that's great... SOMEDAY! Keep in mind it's now a 15 year old car and they were only $20-some-thousand when they were new!

Bring up the problems with it (and check it over with a fine-tooth comb for others) and tell them you've got $5k cash in hand ready to give them. They don't take it, leave your phone number then walk. In this economy, If you're set on an LT1 Hawk, I'd continue looking for a better deal.

Depending on how clean it is (you said it was pretty dirty), I'd offer them around $5,000 is everything ran fine. If you think you could clean it up and make it look nice, thats another good thing you can use when buying it.... Keep on mentioning how dirty it is and how much work you need to do on the body to make it look right or on the intrerior.

I've done that in the past and just recently on my Trailblazer. There were tons of scratches all over my Trailblazer and I used that towards my advantage because I knew I could clean it up real nice and take many of them out. Same thing with the interior too...

I bought a 95 Camaro Convertable for $2,500 that was dirty as hell and sat under a pine tree for a year. Cleaned it up, drove it for a few months, and sold it for $3,500.

I'd probibly offer $5,000. Take some pictures too!

If the car does clean up nice, and they know it will its worth what they are asking. If it doesnt and needs work Id bet they still can get 5k for it.

Is it a 300HP model or a 315HP model? The 315HP models have the 2OTL exhaust. The serial number wouldn't happen to be #317 would it? It's on the ashtray. Gray cloth interior? No t-tops? No hp decal on the hood?

My buddy has a 315hp firehawk.

Nice car.

What all is done to them? His runs really good, I've seen it put down intake/exhaust ls1's. He can drive pretty good but it runs hard for nothing more than I see done to it.

Looks like just exhaust, ram air, and mabye a tune from slp?

Different car than what I was thinking of. The t-tops were the difference. the 315HP models sound amazing if you've never heard one before.

$4000 is a steal if the car is in decent shape.
