Is the serpentine belt on all of the pulleys good? Any fraying on the belt? Has it been squeaking before and gotten worse recently? Is the belt nice and taught?
My money would be on the serpentine belt tensioner getting weak.

the belt is brand new, no fraying from what i can see, its nice and tight. i recently had a couple pulleys off for a opti change. think that could be it? a loose pulley?

I was thinking that if the tensioner was weak the belt would be loose and could come off the pulleys a little bit. I assume everything looks fine and the belt is well seated on all of the pulleys, routed correctly and the correct length?

My only guess is that one of your pulleys is out of alignment. Hopefully someone else can chime in with other ideas. :) They do sell belt dressing kits that are suppose to stop or quiet serpentine belt squeaking. You could try that out.

mine does it also. its the alternator bearing on mine. just spray some whistle dick on the accessories and tensioner one at a time till you find the culprit.
is that the same belt you took off when you did the opti? you can try flipping it around so its running the opposite direction it is now. they do "wear in" a certain way. otherwise get a tire crayon and lay it on the belt while its running that will take care of the squeek;)

Mine did this, it ended up being the bearing in the tensioner. Just another idea. I know mine was really bad...
Good luck getting rid of it.

Bar of soap will work also.

If lubing the belt dont work spray some WD40 on each pully until it stops, then you know which one it is. If you dont fix it, and it is a pulley it will eventually lock up and break your belt.
