Hm must be a different thread size, you can get an adapter.. but that's weird because I'm pretty sure other people on here have hurst knobs on pro 5.0s... I have the stock knob on mine

Does the 5.0 have the 5.0 stick or a different one? That could be your difference there...

sorry for the lack of info,,pro 5.0. with stick that it came with..hurst would thread right onto the stocker but would not go more than 1 thread on the pro 5.0...the goofy part is the stock knob screws onto both..not a thread guru but i am a master plumber so i kinda have an idea when somethings not threading on correctly..so its obvious to me the hurst isnt going on but what gets me is the stocker screwing on both

I have a pro 5.0 and a white hurst knob with the shift pattern on it. It fit perfect first time everytime. I don't know whats wrong with yours man.

Thats okay, my master Opti changing ass didn't put sealant on the threads in the water pump resulting in a dead opti. FTL...
