Bryan tuned mine, great knowledgeable guy. No problems.

I got the tune after a LT install.

I was going to go with MadZ28 when I was looking at getting one. They're both good companies, Ion was just a little cheaper.

Another positive vote for them. I've had my tune changed 2X and each time what I got back was EXACTLY what I asked them to do.

Alvin's done two and Bryan's do others. Each was right on and I never had a problem. I highly recommend them.

Well, it came into today and I just installed it. The car idles 10x better, when I rev and start the engine it doesn't puff black smoke at me, its great!

Whats not great, however, is my inability to get the damn car into 1,3,5,6, and Reverse. What the hell could cause that? I'm pissed. I can't even go drive the damn thing! The blue and grey connectors to the computer don't look like they went in all the way. Could this be the problem? Why won't they go in all the way? The black and red wire harnesses plug in super easy.

can they tune for a turbo

Yes, I have a mailorder 2 bar tune going on my setup through them, and I have looked over and compared the parameters to DTS300zx's turbo tune on his LT1 and they are very close especially being a mail order.

Obviously you wont want that as your final tune, but it is definitely something good for the car to get started and be able to cruise around.

Just put in an order with madtuner for 1hottcamaro's car. One of us will surely post up the dyno numbers afterwards.

I don`t quite understand how this works. I have a Hypertech tune right now but I do not like it. I used it because I went to a 3.73 gear and it corrected my speedo and I have Jet Hot long tubes,MSD wires and cold air intake. I want to run a better tune. What would I need to do?:hmm:

Get a custom tune or get a mail order.

1. Remove the hypertech tune by hooking up the tuner and restoring factory tune/settings.
2. get rid of hypertech tuner
3. Dyno tune. Or get a mail order tune by either sending your PCM to be re flashed, or they can ship you one on an exchange basis. Once you get the tuned PCM, box up and ship your old one back to them for the core refund.

BTW, I put in my order on thursday night for mine and recieved the PCM inj the mail today!

If I was not so damn busy getting the Cobra ready for the track, I would have swapped injectors, knock sensor, and installed the PCM.

I'll probably do it monday after work. I'll make sure to post up the drivability report ASAP.

Mail order is around $100 I think. Check their website to be sure.

FWIW, tuning an FI LT1 car on the stock PCM with the output I have is extremly hard to tune. Bryan is the only guy I would ever trust with this as I am 100% confident he is the best LTX tuner there is. He tuned my Z, and it runes absolutely perfect.

I highly reccomend a dyno tune for anyone who is beyond bolt ons. I also had Bryan tune my LS1 car, which is also turned out amazing.

My buddy and the previous owner of my car had a pretty bad experience w PCMFORLESS and Brian namely.

Ion from madtuner helped him straighten it out even though my buddy had been doing business w his competitor.

That's says a lot to me about Ion's character and I think he is an awesome tuner too.

Ion said it looked like they had Impala SS tables in my PCM which were more limited.

I'm getting a retune from Ion when I throw the headers on, then tweaking it myself w tuner cats.
