I know everyone's seen these but I found this one eariler, I've never seen one that will tell you how much power you'll need to get to a specific time. I don't know how accurate it is but it was fun to play with!

these calculators factor in perfect weather and traction conditions.

I like this, its cool to play around with! So to be able to hang with my 96 cobra I need 720 hp so I can run a 9.8679 .

It's figuring in a perfect launch w/ no wheel spin. Im sure your car is spinning 14's

Or maybe you are guesstimating your hp too high. Believe it or not, those calculators are pretty damn accurate if:

1.Your car gets good traction
2. It is set up well, as in shifting, torque converter, etc...
3. You provide the correct weight

Back in '93 when our cars first came out i NEVER saw one run a 14 anything! Houston Raceway Park 15' above sea level though....so a car with mods should for sure be able to run 13s unless the DA is 4000'+

what was your 60' and your 1/4mi MPH?
this is the calculator i use http://www.modulardepot.com/density.php
it is very accurate as long as your info is truthful, you simply have to know the weight of your car....

TowShen: The gears alone should of put your car in the 13's.. unless your racing on a mountain peak with a sea level tune..
