I now have Ram Air, but way bcak whe i was poor i made this CAI. It is a 3 inch piece of PVC Electrical Conduit. I got it at Lowes in the electrical asile withthe conduit and electrical boxes. It is a LONG elbow. They are grey in color. In the picture it shows the elbow with the bell on the end with the filter, but i later cut that off and clamped the filter right to the pipe. It is approx 3 1/2 inches Outside Diameter. The filter is a unversal 3.5 inch K&N. I suggest measuring the pipe b4 ordering the filter. I painted it black and moved the IAT. It fit perfectly down the hole in the fender and connected to the Elbow. My car is Speed densiity and has no MAF, but i made one for a MAF car and all we did is cut the pipe a little short up top and used some rubber connectors. Here are a few pics of it.

Wow, that actually looks like it belongs under the hood lol. Most "diy" ones look terrible, good job man.

thanks! A lot of ppl thought it was aftermarket, like a K&N or something. It had to flow really good cause it is absolutley smooth inside and is a full 3 inches in diameter. Sounded good too. LOL

Good work. I have a buddy with a Riviera that made his own out of PVC too. He had a couple of turns so he had to piece it together. It looks really good, but it says SEWER PIPE on the top of it.
