I was looking for some stamped roller tip 1.6 rocker arms. What is the difference in GenI rockers and GenII? OTher than twice the money at summit and other places. Will GenI rockers fit?

The differences is that the gen 1 are Non self aligning and the gen 2 rockers are self aligning. The self aligning rockers have little tabs to keep the tip aligned on the valve stem. The NSA rockers use guideplates. You can use the gen 1 non self aligning rockers, but you'll need guideplates and hardened pushrods.

Dont want to steal your thread, but NSA rockers are better for rpms and big cams arent they?

Yes, they are. SA rockers have a tendency to break off the aligning tabs at higher RPM's and on valves with shorter stems.

Its not hard to use NSA rockers on a LT1, I have that set up on my car, just get the GMPP guide plates they are pretty good and dont require machining your head and some good hardened pushrods like said above

I agree with the above, but am just wondering why you're going with roller tip rocker arms as opposed to full rollers. Is it a cost issue?
Most of the robbing power friction is at the trunnion. From all I've read, moving to 1.6 full rollers will give you a low teen power increase. I'm going with 1.7s and let it all hang-out. LOL
