Damn you fat. Last time I was at the track my buddy said the scale read 3434 with me and full weight. Not sure if he was right because i didnt see it myself. Prob said 3534??? I need to go weigh it somewhere???
When the weather gets nice again, I'm going to weigh my car. I've been curious ever since I bought it and I'd like to know before I start pulling some parts off.

There is a scale over by Speed for trucks that everyone uses try that one. I would be surprised if your car was that light. Larry's car has some serious weight reduction and is 3500 lbs with him. My car has tubular k-member, a- arms, light weight carpet, light weight race seats, light weight wheels no AC plus all the things you mentioned and scaled 3500 with me at Byron.
Not hating I just don't see how but your off to a good start good luck at the shootout.

Laura and her husband from Bullock Performance (out of business now) will come to you and scale the car. Her screen name on mofbody is Bighoodscoop PM for prices.:D Mine was 3490 with me in it, should be lighter this year!

I didnt beleive him either but He did take his time looking at it. I was gonna get out and check myself but there was people waiting. I think you were 20yrds away while I weighed it.
Dont forget I only weigh 150 and the car is a Ws6 Formula M6, cloth seats(no power), hardtop, Ws6 hood, spare and jack were not in the car, but everything else was. So Im sure its fairly light compared to alot of other stock cars.
Ill take my car to that scale when it goes back to Speedinc soon.
I want to know also what it really weighs.

Its a start. I plan on pulling the AC, pass airbag, front bumper support once I get a light weight one, so the bumper doesnt sag, K-member a-arms, lightweight bat. etc. I want the car to look stock from the front seats forward

Maybe taking off that fancy WS6 hood would make it look stock. People see that monster and automatically know somethings up.
Definitely pull more poon that way too :secret:
I'm not serious.

Now that would just be more obvious... driving around without a hood sounding like a stock car.....:)

id say 3500-3700 is average

Yup, some fully dressed t/a's can weigh upwards of 3900. With a driver, that can cause a headache for a racing enthusiast haha.

I seriously need to figure out how much crap I've taken off my car and weigh the car.
I've done:
!spare tire
!AC
!Cruise
!ABS
!EGR
!charcoal crap
!stock metal hood and went WS.6 Fiberglass
I'm about to yank the heat as well, but we'll see...only bad thing is that I want to dynomat the car so that will add weight but it'll be worth the added weight to get rid of some of the excess noise and drone.

Just bought some rear prostars with 275/50 MT DRs. That should save a good chunk and reduce rotating weight! :) Still looking for fronts

From my 17x11 with street tires, to some 16x8 salad shooters with the 26x11.50 ET's, I gained 1.6mph! (include the fact the tire spin from the street tires trapped higher)
Rotating mass is a bitch.
