View Full Version : Sell the Camaro?!?

Drove the Camaro in to work today just because I miss the power, the feel and the nice sound system I installed in it. (jammin to Metalica!!) I'm sitting at my desk working when a driver comes in. I know him well cause he comes into our office at least once a day. He's an older gent about 45-50. Give or take a hemroid. He walks up to me and says......I'm not sure I should repeat this. He says "why don't you sell your Camaro and get the new Nissan GTR? That car has real power!!" :shame: Now while I understand that the Nissan is a great car with great performance I don't see me selling the Camaro for it. Why? Well for one it's too much fukin money! And two if I were to sell the Camaro for a higher performance car it would be a Vette! Sorry if any of you dissagree but read my sig and you'll understand. This gent being from the old school I would have expected something else. Like get a first gen Muscle car but no. Kind of threw me off. I would have expected this comeing from a yungun. I politley declined his request and said "why? I can put 5k into my car and run circles around that car!". I know that may not be true but this guy didn't know that. Just thought I'd rant this morning. :D

No kidding if i ever decided to get rid of my camaros it would be to pay for a Vette NOTHING ELSE would do! the corvette is and always will be the pinnicle of performance.......

:laugh:. I'd take a LS1 T/A over a GTR anyday... Even if they both were the same price.

GTRs are garbage, great around a track but underpowered and a shitty transmission... and if you use launch control it voids the warranty

id take a 3rd gen over the gtr, and i dont even like 3rd gens!

Now Now ALi that's not nice thirdgens are excellent cornering cars and with some added power i would put it up against virtually any import in the road course!:D

It's a burned CD so I was listening to Enter Sandman, For whom the bells toll, Sad but true, Master of puppets, you know the usual. Got the vids of them now my daughters a fan!! Start it and I'll be the first to join!!! :cool:
