Car has been running really good. I let my cousin drive it and he calls me telling me it will not start for him. When i get there and try to start it it cranks but will not start. it will crank for a min and then it sounds like the starter just starts spinning. when it does finally start it runs so rough that it feels like the motor is going to jump out of the car. it sounds horriable and will not even move if you put it in gear.

has this happened to anyone and do you know what it could be?

check your plug wires maybe one is disconnected. Sounds like you might have a misfire.Check engine light on?

Yea definitely first thing to do is check plugs/wires, and make sure all sensors are connected correctly

I will go over everything this afternoon.
the car ran perfectly fine down the street, as soon as it was turned off it would not start up and ran like shit. I just put new wires and plugs in it.
I checked what sensors i could see lastnight and they were all good.
I have never been this frustrated with a car before.

FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS OR FAMILY DRIVE THEIR CARS!!!!:jest:

My mom always told me I had a problem with sharing well now that I'm an adult I think it's a good thing. There are only two people on this earth I would let drive my car. My dad, and my wife.

I appologize it's off topic and I provided absolutely no incite to help your problem...

^^^^that's ok, I have learned my lesson, NOONE besides me will be behind the wheel of my car from now on.
I just need to figure out what the hell is wrong with it now.

Found the problem. It was the starter, it was not disegaging.
put a new starter in and now it starts and runs with no problem.

thanks for the advice.
