when i bought my car 6 years ago it had this Harwood on it, I really never cared for it and always wanted the Ultra-Z. Well it's done and here are a few before and after pics. Also with the Z06 wheels. SS spoiler and a Gm nose piece is next, NEVER buy an after market one

It looks way better to me.

What's wrong with the aftermarket bumper? It seems to fit okay.

its not real noticeable but if you look at where it comes to a point by the lights, its higher than the rest. not allowing the front to be high enough. you can see the front of the hood. It just bugs me and thanks

yes they are 16's, they are knock offs from the oem ebay store. the Z06's are 17x9.5 and 18x10.5

i think there was a link posted in another thread to the SLP kit which is basically the WS6 kit without the pontiac ram air embossed on the lid and it doesn't have the moulded weatherstripping. it comes with some you put on the hood itself i think. i got lucky and snagged a used oem pontiac airbox w/ k&n and the MAF to TB bellow for $115 shipped in jan of 08 by searching for "LT1 WS6 airbox" on google and ran across it for sale on a car club site in oklahoma. deals are out there, you just gotta find them

the SLP kit and the WS6 air box look close so i think it may work with the hood

the SLP and WS6 are identical except for the embroidery on the lid and the weatherstripping.

looks really good! it's hard in my opinion to pull off the ultra z hood, but it looks great. the harwood hood just makes lt1's look like even more of a cheesewedge in my opinion. the z06's look good in deep dish too! where's the ss spoiler though?

once i get spoiler i will add some stripes to the rear, not sure what kind or how i want them yet. so im not going to do the Berger panel. and again thanks everyone
Also SLP has there SS spoiler on sale right now at a great price but they want $300 for shipping if i remember right, that doubles the dang price
