View Full Version : spring has spring. got my car out for the summer today

put the collision back on the insurance (i keep comp on it over the winter so i have to keep liability) and aired up the tires (they were down to 25psi) and got my car out today for the summer. it was 67 here today and felt great cruising with the t-tops off :)
some of the pics have a little bit of sun glare in them but they arent too bad

another project i did this winter (actually last fall before i put the car away) was to get rid of those torn up visors. i found a used set for $30

pretty good although it's not as slippery as the oem leather which makes it a little bit harder to get into/out of the car.

i'm in nw indiana and the forecast is partly cloudy high 44 low 27

then 49 friday and back into the 50s over the weekend w/ showers and then some showers next week and highs in the 40s/50s. nothing about snow mentioned on weather.com

It did, now it says rain and snow next tues.
Edit... now it just says rain on wed and next mon. WTF lol

you must be north of me because it never said snow here. not that that would have stopped me. the roads are salt free right now and chances are even if it did flurry slightly, they wouldn't resalt for that. and i don't really store my car. it just sits in the garage so it can pretty much come out any time.
