Ok, ok, it's not what you think! Sorry for the deception! I was just at work and I was doing a pallet count on a truck and noticed that the tires on my car are not meaty enough. Idunno! I had a set of Goodyear Eagles of the same size and they looked wider for some reason. I currently have Falkens 275/40/18. Cell pic so sorry if it came out crappy.

What do you guys think? Need wider tires for the rear huh?

Yup, Biggie size them.
And yeah, different brand/line tires can vary quite a bit.

a wider tire on that rim, maybe
a wider rim and tire, definately
i have 285/35/19s on 19X10.5 and they look a bit thin to me especially in pics.

You could get some spacers to move them out a little more...I wouldn't but you could. I'm just sayin'. Honestly even getting a wider tire is probably not going to fix that issue. You probably need a wider rim with less offset.
I have the same feeling with my Nitto DR's 275/40/17. I'd like them to sit further out toward the outer fender lip.

Actually no Ali I haven't waxed my car in about a year and haven't washed it in about two weeks. Guess I just caught the sun light just right! haha! Yea I want that meaty look on the rear but when I went to Big-O to get my tires that was all they had and I needed tires bad. And I don't do smokey burn outs so these tires still have a lot of rubber on them. The rims are 10 or 10.5 in wide so I don't think it's the rim. Anyone wanna trade for some wider meats and a little $$ on the side!? :shiner:

Judging by the pic I'm almost certain it is the rims. You can see in that first pic how inset the lip of the rim is in comparision to the wheel house.
Are you lowered? If so do you have an adjustable panhard bar? Look at the drivers side and see if it sit's further toward the outside. If so you need to adjust the PHB to center the rearend, that would help.

No sir. Stock height and stock panhard bar. The Goodyears looked way wider. I'm going to get differnent rims but that could be a while. Unless I find a smokin deal!!
Stuff some 11's under the back of that car!
