For my lack of a better term I would like to know how I can fix this:

Its the black bar that is pushed up every time i open the door/roll up the window. I tried searching here and ls1tech because i do recall someone else having this issue, so if someone could at least find that thread, it would be greatly appreciated.:D

I wouldn't mind so much except for the fact that its been raining/snowing quite a bit lately and I dont want water to build up inside the door and have hardcore rusting or even cracking if the water constantly freezes/melts.

Replaced mine with another one I got at the junkyard. You need to remove your door panel and your mirror. Once those are off, make sure the window is all the way down, and start removing the felt pads that help keep the window stable. This will allow the window itself to lean back so you can remove the weather stripping. After that, that weather stripping piece should pop right off. It's just held on by metal clips that end up rusting and falling off. I'll get some pics tomorrow if you guys need them.

Yeah, it is just held on by metal clips, which you can pop off. I had to replace it when I bought my car a few years ago. You can buy it new from the dealer, I don't remember how much it cost though. I don't even remember if we had the door panel off to do it.. seems like you could just roll down the window and be able to pop it off and put a new one on.. but I dunno.

Sorry guys, didn't get a chance to get any pics. Got called into work, was supposed to be my day off. I'll try to get some tomorrow if I get off early enough.

It's impossible to remove and install it without the door panel being off. You have to loosen the felt pads to get to it, which you have to remove the door panels to get to the those.
