haha i know, i have the pulley puller, but the 3 bolts on the sideThey should come out pretty easily. Do you have the belt on still? You could probably wedge a screwdriver in one of those holes to keep it from spinning as well.

I would think it would help, it's been a while since I've pulled a crank pulley but I took the belt off after taking the bolts out then used a puller. If that didn't work I stuck a screwdriver in those big gaps and wedged it so it wouldn't spin anymore.

Yeah, honestly you could prob do it without the belt, I'd try wedging a screwdriver to keep it from spinning just don't wedge it against something that could puncture/break (oil pan, spark plug wire, etc.)

Dude, did you guys seriously ignore putting the car in first gear? You'll turn the engine a little but as soon as you get to the point where the engine will turn the drive train it will quit moving. Don't wedge a screwdriver anywhere on your engine. Not the best idea.

Yeah, I assumed the car was in park/or gear and honestly it would take a decent amount of force to spin the crank so I'm a little confused as well but it's been a while since I've pulled a crank pulley and I've never done it on a LT1.
