Sorry for the shitty pictures, I'll be taking new ones after I put the door panels back in - I re-did them to match the seats.

i'll have a nice interior sometime soon... i'm going all black interior, i can't wait.
anyone guess what a set of black ls1 camaro leather seats are worth? my buddy wants to sell me his... drivers seat has a tear in bolster though. I thought $375 would be a good asking price since I can get some from new ones from 6LE for like $550 or whatever he was asking for.

they are new seat covers (they replace the old ones). if you have a camaro its basically a "remove the old upholstery, slip on the new stuff and hogring it in place" deal. if you have a T/A its a bit more involved if you want an oem look. GM no longer makes those side accordian pieces so they have to be cut off your old seat covers and sewn into the new ones. you reuse your old frame and pads. i actually bought a new drivers upper pad for mine because the bolster was ripped. it was $37.xx shipped from gmpartsdirect.com

Its just the upholstery, but it does come with a small padding like material to make them a little more comfortable/thicker.

They make a paint specifically for interior. You can buy it from any pepboys or autozone etc. It is a bit steep but it comes out really good. Dont remember the name of it though.....:( I painted parts of the door panels on my old 92 accord. I dont suggest using regular paint for this because it wont cure right and ur panels will end up being sticky or itll flake bad. Make sure you completely clean off any and all armor all residue left on the parts or theyll come out looking really shitty from the paint beading up on ya. Itll definately save you a ton of money from buying new panels. :claps:

Dupli-color Vinyl and Fabric coating. It's a rattle can. comes in a variety of colors and can be bought at almost any car parts store. It works pretty good. You need to spray an adhesion promoter on the plastic first and then after a few coats of spray, I cleared the parts. I used dupli-color adhesion promoter and a laquer to clear.
As stated above, make sure the surface is COMPLETELY CLEAN!! I washed the pieces in the tub with warm water and Dawn dish soap to get all armor all and junk off of them.
This stuff has a very strong odor for a day or so. You may want to leave the pieces outside for a day or two to air out until the smell is gone, or your car will reek of it and give you a headache.

You can wrap the pieces you have in vinyl. I've seen it done and it looks very, very good. Personally I'd do that before I painted them, but then again I've never seen them painted.
