ok so with the optispark their is the vent do i just use a clear line for that? the line that goes to the CAI? can i just use clear plastic line?

alright so i found out it is some kind of vacuum....? and i dunno where to buy just the vacuum harness for the distributor? or can it be rigged?

You need to use the GM harness. It's got specific check valves in it so you don't put too much vacuum on the opti.

alrighty whats the diff between the vented and non vented? will the vented one last longer? and if so if i buy a non vented one do i just plug that line comming out of the CAI?

The vented opti is supposed to help with moisture inside the opti. If you buy a non vented opti you will also need a timing chain cover for non vented optis and cam sprocket as they're set up different.

what if the opti stock was not vented?????

if the opti that came on it stock is not vented will i need the cam sprocket and stuff?

No I just thought you had a vented opti since you was looking for the vacuum hose. They changed to the vented optis mid 94 so somes vented and some isn't, sorry about that.
