Ok, well long story short - my car is in dire needs of a spark plug/wire change. I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden the car drastically started bogging down.

I usually use the standard plugs from Autozone, but I want something that will last a little longer than 25000 miles. Any recommendations?

I'm not really making any power, so I don't need anything crazy, but I want something better than the generic shit.

Any ideas??

NGK TR55's seem to be a popular choice.

yeah I've got them at napa and Advance auto parts. There a good plug, only other plug i have used is AC Delco, and they work well to but I seem to get longer life out of the ngk's.

check summit racing. I like taylor spark plug wires and MSD as well. I had Taylor in my grand am and MSD in my camaro.

I've used AC Delco Spitfire, Bosch Platinum +2, and now i'm running NGK TR6s, and out of all them they seem to be running the best with longest life. TR6s are unnecessary if you dont plan to spray though.

Taylor or MSD for the wires for sure, and I will only use AC Delco or NGK plugs. AC Delco wires are great too if your stock, they last awhile. The only thing that hasnt got ACs or NGKs in it that I own/have owned is my Dodge truck. Only because Dodge insists that you use Champion plugs.

Alot of people hate on the Taylor wires, they claim that they arc from the get go. There was a pretty big thread on LS1tech.com about this (In the LT1 section). I personally have used alot of MSD and Taylor products, and have NEVER had problems with either.
