Im in need of a new headunit in the camaro.
I want something Hi-tech.
I would prefer touch screen, mp3 hookup, dvd and cd, fm/am, etc.
I thought something like this would cost upwards of 400-500 bucks but found this website. Is this shit junk or a scam???

This one has everything i want.
Also what would I need as far as installation goes to make this thing work.
I paid 200 bucks for a regular panasonic cd player/fm radio from circuit city 4 years ago, so Im kinda weary on the prices.

I am not a fan of Jensen at all. Some people like their stuff.
I would recommend to look at brands like Alpine, Pioneer, Eclispe, or kenwood. Clarion is ok, but not on the top of my list.
id say something like this:
http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6959
or this
http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6549
you could do something like this, but it would require all kinds of fabricating since you dont have a double DIN radio opening: http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=5731

I really like the JVC AVX44J. I've been looking at it for a while, just can't bring myself to spend $450. Also, I don't really like the looks of the mounting kits they make for our cars.

Thanks for the help. After further reasearch I think Im just gonna go with a regular headunit without a dvd screen.

I ended up buying this one yesterday. I love it. I have my Ipod that I cracked the screen on hooked up to it hid in the dash.

Im very happy with it, I think it even sounds good with stock speakers. I was gonna go aftermarket but I think Im gonna keep the stock ones.

I was also looking into this. I saw it displayed at my local best buy store, it is a nice piece, The only thing i dont like about it is the price haha. But back to the original question everything seems to be "you get what you pay for" my girlfriend has a jensen touchscreen in her car and its nice but sometimes it blacks out and acts weir and she bought it brand new. So if the deal seems to good to be true, im sure their is some quality sacrificed.
