anyone thought of putting an lt5 in an fbody? would it be an easy conversion?

Too expensive. You could make more power cheaper building your LT1.

It would definately be a pretty cool project, but you would most likely be better off building a LT1 up in the long run.

iv found 1 with 6k miles for 6k. then i found one with 570rwhp for 20k!!!!!!!!!!!

I would bet it takes some serious work to make it fit. Buy the one for 6k and lets see what happens!!! You would probably have the only 4th gen F-body with a LT5.

A good friend of mine has 2 lt5 motors, he just picked up a 89 iroc to put one in should be a diffrent build and it looks cool in a fbody.

those motors are beast!!! one thing that bothers me is the cost of parts.
