Will a 4th gen oem torque arm bolt up to a 3rd gen? Or is there some kind of bracket needed?

trans mounted TA, LCA's and PHB are also the same for 3rd and 4th Gens

Oh ok man, but I saw for a torque arm used on 82-88 there was a note that said the clamshell mount from a newer (4th gen) rear was needed to make it work. Is that true?

yes! 82-84 do require an 85 or newer clam shell
