Man are my hands messed up!!!! So, i have a couple stupid questions that i need to ask you guys because its been a long past couple days and i would like to get to school next week ahaha. So...
1. The egr flange on my passenger header will not fit into the egr tube, besides an exhaust leak and a check engine light, is there anything i should worry about? Can i just fabricate something for this one flange if i dont plan on removing all of the egr?
2. I got free headers for a 94-95 (mid length) and my car is a 97, the AIR fittings are different, so i was just going to go to OSH and buy (M22 metric????) bolts to plug in there, how will that affect the pump?
3. I rounded off the o2 sensor bolt in passenger manifold, but the driver side came out fine... the driver side o2 sensor was 2 inches short so i put that one on the passenger side which had plenty of wire. I noticed on the hawksthirdgenparts.com that they want you to say driver side or passenger side... does it really matter????
5. o2 extensions... do they clip into the sensor clip and have another clip to plug into the factory clip. IN other words, is the o2 extension basically a double sided version of the o2 clip?
4. Do you think open y pipe will wake up the neighbors? :metal:
Thanks guys, this and putting oil in is basically all thats keeping me from dropping her back down, appreciate the help!!

1. Yeah sure you can either repair the flange or weld a sawed off bolt into the hole and delete EGR from the car and buy EGR blockoff plates for the EGR valve.
2. If your blocking off the AIR fittings I'd delete the system completely.
3. I believe the 02 sensors are the same per side, the ds should have a longer wire though I believe.
4. Yeah they'll hook right up to your 02. Make sure you get the right clip. Some cars take square connectors, some take flat connectors. I forget which.
5. I'd try to be considerate of your neighbors unless you want a noise complaint.

is it really nessesary to take off all of the egr stuff from back of intake manifold, or can i just leave it without blocking it off...? i just dont want an exhaust leak on the header. Does anyone else have any comments, ideas? Thanks for your help Kiss.

No problem, someones got to be to answer questions for ya, right?
I currently have the EGR valve still in my car, but I plan on taking it off soon when I can get some free time at home in the garage. (The headers that came with the car were used and the EGR tube holes were drilled out and so I decided to cut it off and weld it up and fab up a quick EGR bracket for the where the EGR tube goes on the Intake Manifold.
So yes, you can leave the system still on the car, you'll get a SES light for the EGR malfunction just make sure you block off the EGR tube on the header good and the EGR tube on the maifold.

The black thing on the back of the intake is the EGR valve, just make sure to get some blockoffs made on the header and intake manifold where the EGR tube would go.

He still has to get the SES tuned out since its a 97, but you can drive it as long as the holes in the header and intake are blocked off. The o2s should work on either side the part numbers are for the length stock so they could be switched I sure.

whew i drove it tonight!!! i am running open y pipe and its really loud haha... i believe the loud mouth 2 muffler is 3'' and so is the y pipe collector... does anyone have any suggestions as to what i should do, i want to just put the LM muffler at the end of the collector but would prefer not to weld it on... a pipe to slip inbetween flared out and two band clamps??

if you are talking about putting it on the end of the y-pipe that what i did. I have the LM shotgun resonator on the end of my y-pipe connected with a clamp. no pipe after the LM. it is oh so loud.
