what does everyone use? my mom got me a "sonic scrubber" pro detail for christmas, which i used on my wheels with meguiars aluminum wheel polish. they looked fucking excellent for about 3 days, then it rained, and even if i was them nice and properly, they still get dull looking after i wash them. would adding a coat of wax help to keep them looking polished longer? i've never had polished aluminum wheels before so i'm looking for some techniques to keep them looking nice.

thanks!

Mothers billet polish works great!!!!!! You could wax or clearcoat them to keep the shine longer.

For chrome wheels I use turtle wax's chrome wheel polish... Any of the mothers products work good too.

Polished wheels are a mothertrucker to keep looking nice on a daily. You can't even wash the damn car without getting spots on the wheels.

Mothers is probably your best bet. Get a PowerBall mini and PowerMetal Polish and some Mothers Billet Polish to keep them looking good.

If you have some bucks to spend you could also get some Zoop Seal

It's supposed to work really good.

I've always prefered chrome or powdercoat for daily driven wheels. Save the polished for the showcar!
