when my Lt1 was running 14.2s consistantly i installed a NX 150 shot and was running 12.2s@111 for 450.00 the price of the kit plus new tr55 plugs. this was done with manifolds, custom catless 2.5" y-pipe and cut out, no headers,no tune. just a nitrous sprayin,6speed shiftin fool:D my altitude sux but the gain from motor to nitrous is just above average since most cars get 1.87 gain from a 150shot..
the nitrous sytem i used is a plain kit, it does not include the window switch, fuel pressure switch etc. of course the price will go up with added safety componets.
i also put together my buddies car total bolt on 94 coupe,m6, 3.73s,245/50/16 nittos runnin solid 13.3s ran the best of 11.33@116 crappy DA of course welcome to the desert!

I would just stay away from the old plates with a spray bar in them. They work good on a single plane intake but can cause some distribution problems with a LT1 intake. A single nozzle, dual nozzle in front of the throttle body work good or one of the newer style plates that spray accross the opening of the intake and not towards the back of the intake. I have no real loyalty to any one brand.

I agree with jakesz28 and suggest looking into Nitrous Outlet or NX for a wet system. I run a Nitrous Outlet plate kit on my own car and have done many in shop with great results.

let me know if you need help choosing anything

We are a dealer for Nitrous Outlet as well as NX, Zex and NOS, so I'm sure we can get you handled with any of your nitrous needs.

I would look at the following parts for a complete system...

TR6 plugs
Mallory 685 ignition box..window switch and timing retard in one
Purge
255 intank pump

I would keep it in the 125-150 range and with your noted mods the car should run very hard.

Ray from Nitrous Outlet is also a member here and I'm sure he will chime in

the car as of right now is in pieces, i bought it with a blown engine, this will be my DD in a month or so.

it should be a fun DD for sure

The caddy cam is designed to work well with stock manifolds. I suggest finding a nice set, maybe do a little cleanup on them and make a nice sleeper ;)

ive got my factory set. yea i could def do the clean up on them.
making it a sleeper would be cool, God know my SS isnt. open down pipe on a t67 that see's full boost at 3k.lol
i can gut this thing too considering that the car will only have me and my gf at most in it.
what kinda mpg with that cam give? just wondering?

I think with a good tune you will see little to no difference in fuel economy.

I use NOS Jets, because there rated at Flywheel Horsepower.

I'm sure there are others that are not rated RWHP but I've heard of some guys poppin a "no-name" 150 jet on and getting a not so nice suprise ;)

Good luck, be smart and remember, n2o and boost are like crack.....once you spray 75, you'll want 100, then 125, then 150 then suprise you throw a rod so be smart and know your setup's limit.
