wtb lt1 supercharger and 16" or 17" et streets

im looking around ebay and here for a used supercharger and dont see anything... i have the motor and the tax return for something somewhat small to start. however i want it self contained. i dont like the idea of plumbing my canton oil pan

et streets need to be 16" or 17" i dont have any other size rim to put them on

thanks ive seen those ones. im interested but dont they involve tapping into the oil pan? i really want to avoid that i have a canton racing pan i dont want to mess with it

You are right they do need a oil drain. FWIW, I have the Canton pan as well. I had Canton put a bung in it for the return. They did a great job. Of course I had them do it before they shipped it to me. It would be a pain to take it off and send it to them to add a drain for you so I see why you would want to go with a self-contained unit.

About your only option would be Procharger, or Powerdyne as a last resort.

yeah thats the problem.. i just put my motor back in thinking i would never come accross some money and tax returns were a little better than last year. cuz i bought a house i got the optional tax credit.. anyways im not looking to pull the oil pan to get plumbed for oil lines

their is the one hole on my pan already their with a plug in it i never knew what it was their for..

It's probably the oil level sensor.

On the drivers side, there should be a plugged hole on the top of the kick-out on the pan. I think it's intended to be for a temperature sensor though. Because its always below the oil level and will leak like crazy if you dont get it sealed up properly.

Mine is on the passenger side, top of the kick out. Wish I would have welded it shut because like you said they like to leak. I finally got it to stop though.
