The second kit is our alternator & power steering relocation kit which comes with billet brackets, custom tensioner, grade 8 hardware, belt and detailed instructions. The unit keeps the PS pump very close to the stock location, so the stock lines and reservoir can be used. The same goes here to lengthen the alternator wires.

Would you possibly know if one of these would fit an LT1 in a Third-gen Z28? Looks like a nice kit. I would like to do down the road this with P/S if it fit in my 85.

not sure, but we could charge you and send out a kit in bare form for testing.

We would refund you minus shipping if it did not work..assuming in comes back in the same condition.

On my 86 t/a, I made my own alternator relocation bracket but on the lower drivers side using the stock LT1 alternator. I had to grind down part of the alternator housing to get it as close to the engine as I could and it would just rest on the k member brace. So, then I grinded some of the alternator housing off around that area. Bad thing is when you rev on the engine the alternator hits the brace. I'm re-doing my bracket and using a smaller alternator now.

The lower passenger side might be a different story though. It might perfectly work in a thirdgen f-body with polyurethane motor mounts, I had crappy rubber mounts.
