for street use what would be better lakewood traction lift bars (jegs part number#620-21700) or jegs adj LCAs (part#550-4008)?

All I can say is you get what you pay for. I'm sure that the parts will be better than stock, but you may want to look into BMR or spohn(sic?)

I have adjustable LCA's made by UMI and I have no complaints. They fit, work, and look great.

Them lift bars are junk. Your better off getting some upgraded LCA's and relocation brackets.

Maybe a little bit better than stock???

The thing with good LCA's and relocation brackets is this. The LCA's provide a stiffer link to the chassis via its construction and bushing material. The relocation brackets work correctly with the stock suspension setup to place more load on the tires. Basically they put the LCA in a downward angle going towards the rear of the car. When the axle torque tries to rotate the axle backwards (pinion up), the relocated LCA's turn that twisting motion into downward thrust on the tires.

I imagine that the Lakewood lift bars attempt to do the same thing, but go about it the wrong way.

the traction action lakewoods tear some shit up... a car i worked on had them and we had to take them off and re weld EVERY point they touched the car, they broke welds on spring perches and the PHB mount and broke the actual Chromoly part of the bars into 3 peices
