You dont use those particular braided couplers on your kits do you? Those things implode all the time, you should be using ones with inner bellows adn outer braid only!

The kit you have has the mesh on the inside. I wouldn't worry though unless you start seeing a big drop in power. There have only been a few people online that have had problems with the mesh stretching (actually stretches and closes up the flex coupler... creating a restriction). I haven't had any customers with problems with the 2.5" flex couplers I use.

Plug access from the bottom looks like it might be the easiest of all turbo kits I've seen for the LT so far....

These headers definitely allow for easy plug access.

I like the idea of the SLP headers... Looks very nice and clean. Were those particular headers used?

It is up to the owner what he wants to do. He can paint them and wrap them, or send them out for coating.

Is there a reason you didnt just use the 90* bend off the turbo and point it back towards the back of the care, rather than going down and "u'ing" it?

I was wondering the same thing... I also noticed that A/C will not be going back on there.

Looking very nice as usual. One of these days I'm gonna have to drop my obsession with belt driven boost and try out a Turbo on something :secret:

Thanks dude. The less couplers the better! 3 pieces for cold piping will be easy to install, and when powdercoated will look awesome!

Hell yeah, couplers suck. That's looks similar to what I'm planning for my car...

I see your gonna powdercoat them, what about the inside? Or does it not really matter?

I am not gonna pc them, but hopefully the owner will coat them. I believe my pc'd pipes on my T/A were only done on the outside. If you use mild steel, it is probably best to use a coating that will be on the inside as well to prevent corrosion.

By looking at your pics, it shouldnt be a problem to pc the inside as well. The pipes that came with my Procharger are not coated on the inside at all, and do show some corrosion. The little bit of oil that my sc used to leak seems to have done great at preventing corrosion though, lol.
