The locks on my passengers side door in my Formula are kinda skrewed up. It seems like whenever I wash my car, and if the temp. drops below freezing that same night, my locks act up. They either dont allow me to open it, or when it does decide to open, the latch that keeps the door closed gers messed up and when I go to shut it it wont lock. Its a simple fix, but its a reoccuring one. I'm thinking it might be caused from the water getting inbetween the door and freezing?
Anyone else have something similar to this happen to them before? And what should I do to fix this?

pull door panels off check connectors clean spray with dielectric grease (sp) also lube all tracks and gearing, also insert wd-40 tube in door lock (where you insert key) and spray insert key and manually lock and unlock several times should fix your problems and is good preventive maint.

Try going to the dealership... I'd imagine they would have them there.

they make graphite stuff for locks that works pretty good. You can buy it anywhere that sells auto parts

locking cylinders really are not the complicated, I would disconnected from electric solenoids to test, more of a chance that the solenoids are bad
