For some odd reason the car's been throwning codes, and running with the efans on all the time, which is odd because its mid 20's or lower here . It doesnt seem to run any different though.
Codes it threw were:
26- "Quad-driver module or Quad-driver No.1 error" whatever that means
46- "VATS failure or PS pressure switch failure"
The VATS has been screwing up lately but idk wtf it has to do with running the fans, and I have no idea what the Quad-driver module is:confused:.
I'm going to re scan it today to double check, because these codes just don't seem right to me.

Any time your car throws a code, the fans will engage... it is a precaution

I have no clue what the quad driver is but for the other one (seeing as it has VATS or...) is your steering acting the same?

I think you can get a tune and have both of those deleted out. I KNOW you can tune out the QDM codes.

Thanks Fastbird. The QDM is no biggie as I'll be deleting most of the emissions here soon.
And the VATS I have no clue how to fix, its either in the key or the ignition switch itself. If I so much as look at the damn key the wrong way, it throws up the security light and wont start for 3 min's. That shit's already cost me a drivers' window lol.

TBH I dont even know where I could get a new key, in this BFE town im in here. Back home the Ace I worked at cut them and they were a PITA to program the chip, and 30-40 bucks. I'd hate to see what a dealershit would try to charge me:rolleyes:.

Why not try to bypass the VATS and see if the troubles remain. If they do, it's in the module. If they don't, it's the key/receiver talking to each other.

If the snow stays away I will try to bypass the VATS this weekend, not having a garage FTL.
