LT4 Edelbrock manifold 7109

Has anybody had or have this intake and does it fit GMPP LT4 heads out of the box? It says it fits both the LT1 and LT4 and if I am not mistaken that you cant put a LT4 intake on a LT1?

And the tech line for Edelbrock said it should.?:frustrated:

I don't know if that one will work, but I know the normal LT4 one won't fit the LT1 b/c the runners are raised.

That is a pretty penny for an intake though, you won't see big gains from switching to that and will be down several hundered dollars. If you have an LT1 you are better off (cost wise) porting your stock intake to achieve nearly the same horsepower only a lot less $$$, but thats just my $.02.

Ok, got you now.

The LT4 manifold will work with your LT4 heads. I guess you don't really have many other options, the stock LT4 intake manifolds aren't that easy to find.

They have one to fit the Lt1 and one for the LT4, you have the right part #.

the 1707 is an lt1 intake the 1709 is an lt4

You can only get the lt1 mani in cast color and the lt4 mani only comes in red/orange
