So guys has anybody made 1000hp with a supercharger on a 355 Ltx motor if so what supercharger did they use, boost , engine specs, ect ? If nobody has what would be the s/c to use F1a,D1r,F2,V-20 ect?
Your gonna need a YSi, F1C, or F1r to do that with any ease. You can do it with a smaller blower but its gonna be very hot. and i would go with a AFR 210 or 227 comps. and a pretty big cam. Your gonna need 20+psi and 6500rpm minimum for that #
I should be in the 750whp area on pump gas this year, but ill be out of injector so i wont push it any harder

Grr is pretty much correct. I'd just like to add that even though a hydraulic roller cam setup should be more than capable... If I had AFR 210's or better, I wouldnt bother with anything less than solid roller. Especially since you'd have to spin the motor so high.

The reason I ask is that I haven't totally give up on getting there with a s/c.I know it would be a lot more practical with a big turbo but I like the sound of a s/c better, my biggest reason for wanting to stay with a s/c (lol), along with the big cost of going turbo. I have a D1 now and I have made 707whp @ 15.5lbs of boost so I think it will take about 22lbs to get me to 1k. I would like to know about the D1r since it fits the D1 bracket I have now and it flows 2000cfm just like the F1r without having to spin it as fast , which would mean lower temps at the same psi I would think.Any info would be great, Thanks.

I'm not sure about the D1r fitment, but I know that the F1 series will in fact fit with your existing bracketry. Only problem with them is that they are 3/4" bigger in overall diameter. Most people find that they need to grind the block a tiny bit as well as clearance the frame rail. FWIW, not only have I never heard of the D1r fitting the same bracket, but I have never heard of anyone using one in an LT1 application. The F1 series has been done by many people before, so information relating to the application is easy to get.

The F-series fits the d1sc bracket yes but not the d1 they are two different brackets.

Not sure if you can get there with the standard stuff. Maybe ponyhntr can chime in here. If you want to do it with a blower, the standard F1/YSI blowers probably won't get an LT1 motor there. If it were an LSX, then thats a different story. You will need some serious heads/cam to get there.

I agree its doable, but with everyone else its gonna take a very large blower and a monster heads and cam setup.
I think why most people haven't gone the 1,000 RWHP route is mostly because of its practical usage. 600-750 RWHP is more than enough to get a single digit time slip at the track, and more than most want on the street. Anything north of 800 RWHP is more for bragging rights and being a dyno king. But I am confident there is someone out there who has done it on a supercharged LTX.

Thanks for the input and you are right 700 is useless on the street. My old setup made a bit north of 700 and I was trapping 140 avg even tho my best e.t. was 10.02 .This setup is more for wow factor.
