I like my LT1 spoiler but the SS one looks pretty nice. I used to think it looked too tall but i think itd actually look good on my car. How is this one?

do you think its a cheapo that wont line up? For $75 bucks I'm actually thinking about getting it but whatsup with the 3rd brake light wiring deal? I heard theres something you have to do for LED wiring?

Damn! They really hit you on the shipping. Take that into consideration if you buy.

Also, might not hurt to ask them if the picture shown actually represents what you will recieve. In the pic the fit/finish does look pretty good. Pics are deceiving though.

I like that style more.

I like how it swoops up in the back and flows better with the body lines overall, but something about the 2 supports in the middle annoy me. I like the LT1 one but the sagging 3rd brake light in the middle is lame. Too bad there isnt an SS style without the supports in the center.

I cant figure out why the price is so cheap. I would definetly investigate before you buy anything.

i think the sagging third brake light makes the rear of the lt1 look heavier/beefier.

you could always get the mecham ss spoiler, which is like the ls1 style with the flush mount 3rd brake light, but without the posts. it's a little bit more dramatic of a lip too.

Isn't that just the LS1 SS spoiler or am I missing something? If it is just the LS1 SS Spoiler, look for a company on Ebay called the Spoiler Company. They sell their spoilers for $170 shipped, and I haven't heard one bad thing about fitment with their product.

You'll have to put in a resistor or else your ABS light will be on. I'm not sure what size of one yet.. I've just been driving around with the ABS light on since christmas lol. I'll let you know what size resistor when I find out.. might mess with it this weekend when it's supposed to be warmer out. Other than that though, you just take your spoiler off and put the new one on, plug it in and the brake light works fine. It does slightly glow when you have your lights on though

You can just wire in a standard automotive relay to remove the ABS light. I realized this after switching to LEDs and installing a flasher unit.

EDIT: See following diagram.
