Has anybody gone from using a TCI stall to a Yank, PI, or equivalent stall? If so was it worth the swap as in better 60ft and E.T.s? I only race my car so driveability is not a concern. I am currently running a TCI 3600. when i was bolt-on only my best 60ft. was a 1.65, however my trap speeds always seem low. now that i have a cam I would like to be in the high 1.5 range.

Usually when you think your trap speed is low in relation to other cars that ET near the same as you, it is just a good example of how efficient your car is at getting ALL of its power down to the ground. Maybe you think your converter is slipping too much up top. What does the timeslip look like?
I have zero first hand experience with any of those brands but I am sure you will hear pluses and minuses for all of them.

A 1.65 60 foot time is amazing for a bolt-on car. I would say your car is very good out of the hole. You probably won't find much improvement on the short time switching converters.
