Well after selling the vette (see vette thread), I was able to cross off the purchase of a bucket list vehicle...
Since it does have a back seat... it fit the bill as the upgrade as well for doing stuff with the wife and kid together.
No... its not LTX powered... but she is powerful...
Here is our new 1970 split bumper camaro...
-540 BIGGGGGGG block
-th350
Dana 60 with 4.10 posi
-13:1 cr (for now)
-runs on 110 races on 112
-10pt cage

Sounds like a well built car, and I'm sure it's an animal on the street!

Sounds like a well built car, and I'm sure it's an animal on the street!Definitely an animal... however, I have a lil bit of work making it a lil more "street" and a lil less "racecar."

Car looks like a lot of fun! I like the REAL RS split bumper cars. It's a pet peeve of mine when I see non-RS cars that guys put the split bumpers on.

She is finally home... that 20ish mile drive was definitely exhilarating!
For only 8 more wheel horsepower than the old white camaro... the NA 540 BBC is a completely different animal.
It was actually scary to drive.
but I love it!401964019740198

Also need to enjoy it this summer the way it is to decide if I'm gonna keep it at like 5mpg of 110/112 octane or a revamp to drop to pump gas. Lol.
