Hey guys im new to the site and I hope you guys can help me out. I want to know where I can find pictures of 4th gens with a carb'd setup on them. I know the word carburetor can be considered a bad word on these sites i am just curious to know what people are doing to do this conversion.THNX alot--Billy:D

Gm performance parts sales a intake for the LT1 to put a carb on top of it, bad part is to put a carb in a 4th gen Fbody you need to cut the cowl out of the car and get rid of the window wiper stuff thats under there.

I have seen some carbs modified to be mounted sideways. That way the rear float is not under the cowl. Heres a picture off mf my car.

no. Edelbrocks are copied versions of carter AFB carbs with a few changes.
I don't recommend Edelbrocks for hiperformance applications. Holleys seem to work better, but Eddies work good on mild mannered street cars, and do give decent milage.

You can tell it's definitely an F Body, look at the DASH! :jest:

does anyone know if there are any other intake manifolds for a cab setup that will work with stock heads.
