Here's where his car is at as of now. Why am I posting this here? Because it's freaking cool (and yes, I have some wrench time on this as well, but another friend of ours is doing the majority of the build).

This is a ridiculous build. Magnum T56, freshly built 2JZ, 276 cams, Precision 7685 (GT42) Turbo, Halltech Elite 2500, PWM Deatschwerks Fuel system, E85, etc etc etc. Car is going to make an easy 1150-1200 at the tire.
Some are gonna yell sacrilege, and I get that. But Ben, like myself and lots of others, are just car guys and dig stuff like this. Why he went this way? His LTx setup with the big turbo (BW S484) didn't last long at a tad over 1K RWHP. It twisted the block and munched the main bearings. He's loved the MKIV Supra and 2J platform ever since I've known him (going on about 15+ years now) and he figured this would be a good balance. I think it's phenomenal. Best part? He's fully documenting the build via youtube.....it's worth a watch. Lot of talking and amateurism to start with but quickly grows into a decent watch. This is legit the first documented 2JZ 4th Gen swap.

Hoping to be at least turning the key on it within a couple of months. We just picked up the motor a couple weeks ago, and that was really the last big piece before it could go in with the driveline for the last time.
