So I found a huge puddle of coolant under my LT1 and I jacked it up today and noticed it was wet around this port. Looks like it wiggled its way out some? Can this be pushed back in or does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this leak. See pictures below. It's a 95 LT1, I put the water pump on a few years ago and there's not even 500 miles on it probably. Thanks

You could try to clean and dry it really well and apply a cold weld around the seam

Or replace the pump.

Is that piece "serviceable", like is there an O-Ring behind it that can replaced? Sucks there's barley any miles on this pump smh...
I'd weld it but I don't have one also

That's a press in piece. Best you can probably hope for is to remove the piece, put a light coating of some kind of sealant on it, then put it back in.

Pull it out, it can be tapped for 1/2" npt and use a regular 1/2" npt to barb brass fitting

Will do soon, I'm off over 2 weeks soon so I'll work on it then. Thanks

Have you fixed this?
Is this a Duralast pump? I've got a guy on CZ28 with the same problem on a new Duralast pump.

Fixed this over the weekend, took the radiator and all the hoses off to get to the front of the water pump. Pushed the fitting in tight and used a sealant around the pipe just to be safe.
