...Let my chick drive my rig??? LMAO.
I'm 6'1" and she's 5'2". She (every once in a GREAT while) needs to move the car when I'm not home and I'd rather have her do it safe where she can at least reach the pedals and not pop the clutch into the '55 Chevy parked in front of it.
Any ideas???
Thanks,
Ivan

I'm 6' and the guy I bought my car from was 5'1". When he drove to my house to show me the car, he had actually taken one of the bottom parts off the seats in the back, and would sit on that while he drove.
He also put a set of aftermarket pedals on the car, and he had put small blocks of wood between the original pedals, and the aftermarket ones.
Doubt this helps at all, but it's a similar story.

Muwahahaha! You're kidding right???
What a tool!! I'll never have blocks of wood on my rig!
Dang!,

To be honest, Im not a whole lot taller than your woman (Im lucky to see 5'7" on a good day) and I dont have a problem driving my car. Maybe she could put a pillow behind her like old people do? Looks like they robbed a seat cushion off their interior decorating from the 70's...

No joke. He had a piece of wood between the pedal and the aftermarket pedal cover.

If it were an auto I could move it back a couple inches. But im all over that clutch pedal like its nobodies business.

I know that there is because when we got our second Camaro 97 SS I thought of the same thing and when I asked didn't get a whole lot of replies except for one dude (On CamaroZ28.com years ago..) that made these "straps" that basically moved it- back in his case - a few inches.
I didn't pursue it however since all three of the cars we had were all autos and had manual seats. I don't know if the electric seats are a little different or if it is indeed since it's a 6 speed, but she can't reach that thing for crap and everytime I'm with her she lays it out really nice, taking a few hundy miles off the tires.
Maybe she just likes burning out or maybe she really wants me to ban her from driving it...I dunno.
I'll look forward to seeing your design brother,

Here are a few pics..the first pic is with the seat all the way back which i dont even need to do so everything shown is usually covered up. When i do this to the passenger side im going to paint both sides so it cleans it up a bit.

I'm 5'4 and have no problem driving i can actually move my seat up a little further, but my car is an auto so i don't got a long ass clutch to worry about.
