Correct. Its hard to tell if he hit the other car or not.

Based that the guy stopped rather than slowly coasting down the track and he's cussing a lot, I bet he was.

Wow! That blows!!
Would the guy in the Civic have to pay for the damages himself, or would he have any chance suing the guy and comming out winning?
If I owned the Regal, I'd deinately pay for the damages to the other car... But I was just curious how that whole thing goes. I know they make you sign a waver saying that the track isnt responsible and a bunch of other stuff, but I cant remember.

Oh.. Didnt think so, but just wanted to make sure. Could you sue the guy though if they didnt want to pay? Or are you on your own?

Yeah, idk about everywhere, But at KCIR when you sign in you wave the right to use your insurance.
Now the kid in the civic could of made up some BS story up saying someone backed into him at Hy Vee or something.

i was told by my insurance guy that if i wreck or get wrecked at a track i am on my own. My new insurance (collectors) explicitly says that vehicle can not be used in "competitive racing events" I guess they have race car insurance for like classic road racers and such, but i may be wrong.

If that happened to me, and I was the guy in the civic, I deff. wouldnt get out cussing and I wouldnt be pissed at the guy.. it wasnt the guy in the regals fault, and when you line up next to someone racing theres a chance something could happen.. I would be pissed at the situation but not at that person.
Did that 10 bolt just explode? lol

Insurance is called legal rape. I hate insurance. ALL OF IT.

I'd have to agree. I haven't had one benefit from every having insurance.
My bike wreck, I got screwed.
When I had my 05 Ranger, insurance was rediculous, and it wasnt even my primary.

I like how if your car is stolen, they make you wait for 3 months before you get cut a check that is only half what the car is worth.
I like how you pay to be insured, then get into a minor accident and your insurance skyrockets, so you end up paying for the damage anyway for the next 3 years.
It's a crock of SHIT.

When I had Geico, I had a car I only payed 5000 for and I totalled it, and they gave me $8000, so I deff.really liked Geico.. than I ended up getting dropped from Geico, and now I have a shitty insurance company that I dont really like... sooo I guess it depends on that insurance company if you will have a good experience or not.

So... you like how a company drops you? Probably from having a claim? WOW, you used them for what they are there for and they drop you. That's a great company.
My roommates dad's insurance dropped him when his leg was ripped off in a motorcycle accident and didn't cover him because it was too expensive.
It wasn't EVEN HIS FAULT!!!!
How can this type of business be forced upon you and then you are completely NEGLECTED when you try to use what it's there for?!!?!
This country is so F%O&KING BACKWARDS.

.
No, I like how they gave me over book value for a car I had.. I didnt like how they dropped me.. but it wasnt just for that accident(that was my fault) I got dropped after several other things happened and they determined I was ''high risk'' or whatever.. so that was a pain and now I just have liability at some no name company.
