Just lost a great friend.

Many of u know him as well... if u have ever been to my dyno day events, u know the owner of Performance Specialties, Ray, who is the nicest guy around.

He called 911 early this am and got a lift to the hospital since he couls barely breath.

Ive been texting with him and the woman who works in the front of his shop all morning.

Hes had heart problems, and just moments ago, those problems got the best off him.


Im sick to my stomach over this...

Ray was a good guy. I didn't know him outside of the dyno day events, but he was always soft spoken and willing to help with things. He was an obvious member of the car community in the area and heavily respected. Pottstown is a very unique area with all of the speed shops everywhere, and for him to be around for so long and thrive is respectful.

One thing I'll share about my experience with him, is when I had my 5th gen at the dyno day. Both years it was entered, there were a lot of back to back cars with their owners wanting to run their own cars. By the time it was my turn, I asked him to run my car and he lit up as he was both happy to sit down and rest and also get to run something instead of being the guy, standing at the computer all day. This was the case two years in a row with my car and I'm glad he ran it.
