SOLD http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Vortech-V1-S-trim-93-97-LT1-Camaro-SS-Firebird-TransAm_W0QQitemZ150330115996QQihZ005QQcategoryZ33 741QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemIt's on ebay...... Here is a Vortech V1 S trim that I bought new from summit racing. I have the pullies for 6 lbs and 9 lbs. Its almost a complete kit. I sold the Crane Cams Ignition box seperate because I didn't like it compared to my MSD 6btm. I hardly drove this car while it was installed. I'm guessing around 2,000 miles so it's still practically new. I had it on my 383 and I have decided I want more boost and I'm not going to destroy the supercharger trying to make more boost so I'm upgrading to a turbo. I still have the instructions and everything should be there minus a couple of hose clamps and some hose maybe. I paid over 4,000 for this and because it's used and I'm missing the ignition box. I really think this will work really well for somebody who is installing this on a stock engine. Vortech says you should be making 390 horse on a stock engine and 395 lbft of torque. It includes the T-rex pump ( never used ). Any questions please ask.

Damn dude, that is tempting. If I didn't have two cars, and two kids, I'd have two superchargers:jest:

TTT, for you for a sweet deal!

Seems like a good deal to me. But then again, I wouldn't know. If I had the cash I would buy it for sure.

Those are really the only good pics I have of it. I have it off the engine now but the vortech picture is what it looks like.

do you have to punch a hole in the pan for oil return?

Yes you do have to punch a hole in the pan. I didn't like the idea of doing that but I did try it to a stock pan and if you follow the instructions it actually works good. I like knowing that there is constantly filtered oil going through my charger rather than having to change the oil in it all the time like with the paxton and prochargers.

Well, biggest item I'm looking to sell is a built 200 4R tranny. Not sure if it catches you're attention or not. Here's the link to the fs thread here:
http://ltxtech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3186

Would make a nice tranny if you're looking to go auto in the bird, or something beefy for the chevette :D It's a dual pattern case so it has the BOP and chevy bolt pattern on the bellhousing.

Or, I have a 2 stage NOS cheater system, NIB that I wouldn't be needing if I got the vortech lol.
I have a bunch of other random odds and ends floating around too, looking for anything in particular?

Is the NOS cheater for a 4 barrel intake or can it be adapted to the lt1 intake?

It's for a 4bbl but I don't see any reason why you couldn't get a fogger nozzle or a throttle body plate. Maybe different jets for the fuel pressure difference. That's all I was going to do.

Whats the fogger system worth? I'm just asking cause I don't want to make you feel like your losing money on it and I don't wanna feel like i'm gonna get screwed on it either.

Iirc I paid around $600 new for it. It's still in the package but I've been sitting on it for a few years. Obviously you never get back what you spent so go from there if you want to talk numbers.

Well what do you think about 1,000 and the fogger system for the supercharger kit?

Let me think on it for a bit. I may have that 200 r4 sold. If I do I'll most likely work out a cash deal instead

Otherwise I need to think on it and make sure I'm not going to break myself lol. Fyi, it's not a fogger kit currently, it's a plate kit. But, get a nozzle to replace the plate and it basically becomes a wet kit. Not sure if that makes a difference in your decision.

It makes me no difference. I've swapped another car over to a nozzle before.

On another note, I got an offer to trade me a Richmond 6 speed for my 200 4r. Any interest in a Richmond 6 speed? If so I'll do the swap and then we can swap. Horsetrading all around LOL

I thought so too. And after multiple emails I thought it was a done deal. Then I called him to finalize it and the guy flaked... :frustrated:

Yeah, my fiance just had to go in for surgery this past week, her being out of work the last couple weeks and for the next couple coming puts a serious dent in my toy budget. But hey, what can you do, thank you for your time.
