Got my truck back...

Most of you guys don't know this, but my truck got hit while leaving a parking lot about a month ago. Got part of the bumper, driver's fender, door and 3rd door, also scuffed the tire and wheel. Not alot of damage, but the insurance estimate came out to about $2400. The guy that hit me had insurance, so they took care of it all. A friend owns a body shop, so he cust me a smokin deal and I took the opportunity to 'mod' it a bit.
I've always liked the looks of the painted front ends of the Z71 Tahoes and Suburbans, so I decided to do the same with my truck. I also had the door handles painted to match. I have a set of OEM fender flares that will also go on, but they had not been painted yet. I'll get pics of those when I do get them on.
What do you think? :)

Damn Josh you've had terrible luck with that truck. First your headunit was stolen now this?

Looks great though! I've seen a few people do that (Z71 style body colored front ends) on FSC and it looks great. The fender flares will also look really good as well. Have you considered painting your mirrors?

Yeah, I do want to paint the mirrors and also the rear bumper, but that will have to wait. Didn't have enough room in the $$$ department to get those done too.

I'm in the process of selling my cam, and hoping to buy my dad's '99 medium gray Silverado Z71 (LT, 5.3L, ECSB, Z71, body color Tonneau Cover, leather, etc.) and getting that paid off by the time I graduate (or save up enough for a nice down payment on a DD once I get out of school) so I can go bigger on my SS once I have this thing called "disposable income." :jest:
