Speakers fitment issue maybe???

Ok, what speakers are you guys running in your doors? I went to a shop today and they said camaros and birds have limited space for door speakers. They suggested running a 5 1/4" door speakers. I want to get components not coaxials.

i have 6.5" in my doors and they fit perfect

Look for a 6.5S speaker. It's a slightly oversized 6 1/2 inch speaker that's closer to 6 3/4. My Infinity components in the doors are 6.5S speakers.

Get with Ian at KeeAudio. He is very knowledgable when it comes to hookin' up f-bods. I have a set of 6.5" CDTCL-61CV and they sound great.

Im more worried about the depth fitment of the speaker. I know the 6.5 wont be a problem.

i believe the mounting depth of the speakers I put in was 2-3/16" and they fit fine, probably more room back there aswell
