Hey, my crank bolt was stripped. Its been like that since I bought the engine. What size is it? And what kind of bolt? Allen, hex? I havent had the bolt for a while. Thanks..

I assume you mean the Harmonic Balancer bolt and if so there is a specific bolt just for that application. ARP, Moroso, Mr. Gasket, and Spectre all have small block chevy balancer bolts. Here is a pic.

You can probably find one locally at an Auto Parts Store.

The threads are 7/16 x 20, I remember that much. I've got an ARP sitting in the garage, it's what I'd recommend because they're NOT a TTY bolt and thus reusable.
