This is the one I use on my setup. I run a quickfuel carb with no choke provisions.

I havent seen one with windshield wipers with a carb swap either, if you drive in the rain I suppose rain X would work

Most of the ones I've seen where guys removed the wipers were on ls cars. There are guys that kept the wipers on. Here's a good link to look at for info. The good thing about this swap is there are quite a few people that have done it.

You will need to snake the intake and dizzy in together, def get another set of hands. Its doable, it can be a pain, but doable.

What troubles are you having with the opti? It's pretty fool proof unless you're buying garbage optis/soaking them in coolant

Ive bought every brand from A/C delco to MSD to duralast. There all the same going out about the same.I have to say the duralast was the only one that lasted. The Msd one lasted about 10 years. Then it went down.Fron there on all down hill.I posted my problem at this moment in this section.

I've had 4 lt1 cars and I've only replaced 2 opti's both were shortly afyer purchasing the cars because they were soaked in coolant.

Yeah, and without scanning it you won't know. Unless you have an electrical gremlin
