I have in my possession a almost new set of alum LT1 heads that came off of a Mercury Marine LT1, this set of heads has less than 24 hrs on them. the story goes like this, rich boy has to keep up with the Jones's , buys a 300hp jet boat, during his first outing finds a sand bar. after a lengthy weekend of paying insane tow bills. he drags it home and leaves it until the next spring. when the new owner test fires the motor, he finds out that the block had a battle with ol man winter and lost. rich boy wasn't smart enough to drain the block for winter. the only things that were spared were the heads and intake (which I have all three items). the intake still has the Mercury Marine sticker on it.

I would take $200 + shipping for them. which is what I have in them

Merc intake manifold complete $100

a second intake $75

I have a second set of heads that have SOME miles on them good cores, $100 + shipping

2 sets of Camaro LT1 exhaust manifolds $150 + SH a set

complete LT1 short block, may be missing cam $150 + SH

I will be parting out a 1995 Z28 Camaro as well, no motor (I'm keeping it) or trans, was running 100 miles a day until trans #4 failed, I'M done!!! Rear axel is under consideration, I want rear disks for another project??

PM Me if interested. May have more stuff later on

I have a Grandmother I will be visiting in Wichita next month. If you still have that short block then I would be interested in snagging it from you.

Looks like they got rid of the Opti spark for the Marine engines????? Why has this never been talked about?

Maybe its hard to find parts but it looks like that could easily be used for a DIS ignition system.

nevermind found someone talking about it a few years ago

That coilpack is definitely the northstar part. I have the exact same piece on my car due to buying Delteq something like 13 years ago. Delteq of course, used the optical part of the Opti for a trigger instead. I'm guessing theirs is a simpler, less tunable trigger since marine use doesn't really need variable timing so much.

True I didnt think about that, not much light throttle cruising on a boat. Ive been searching and these seem to be really rare witch is probably why of all the boats ive been around and worked on ive never seen one. So parts would be hard to come by or expensive anyways.
