I sure hope so... ive been cheating a bit here and there and am able to walk on my own... but there is always a fear of WILL IT COME APART ON THE NEXT STEP. I just wanna hear him tell me... its fused together... and strong as new... it wont break again... lol. Good news... just had my xray and appt with dr. Casey. He said its healing well with no displacement. Advised me that I can transition to 50% weight bearing to no crutches as i feel comfortable. Follow up xray will be 6 more weeks and he hopes to clear me 100% at that time.

I was mp for 7 years. I also have been kicking around the idea of being a dispatcher or working in an evidence room or something. I was the NCOIC of a drug team in south korea and helped CID with other investigations. I also did an intership at fletc in the forensic crimescene investigations branch.

Most law enforcement jobs would require u to be a police officer to do csi or evidence tech stuff. Dispatch on the other hand... many are just civilian positions.

Well nearly 7 months after one of the most horrible days of my life, this story is about to come to am end.

My girl got towed out and dropped off at the same shop she was born/built, for our date this saturday to gut the drive train and susp stuff.

So... as many of u know...today was spent,with friends, taking the camaro apart. I was telling those friends that i wanted to be the one to hit the button that would make the car a cube, when one of them made a joke about me taking that cube back home, and making a table out of it. I laughed it off for a moment... but then later started to think about it again. WHY NOT??? I mean I know the table would be heavy... but if it squishes it into a good enough cube... get somee short rubber bump stops and have a piece of glass cut for over the top... boom... instant center piece, and topic for discussion. So thats the plan... who knows if it will work, but gonna give it a shot.

If i used the other machine it wouldve... as I mentioned a couple posts above. The problem is the camaro is just not enough metal for the larger machine to compress, and the smaller machine wouldve given me an "end table" something like 3x3x3. Which is not what I was looking for.

I actually think this way is cooler... even beyone the longer size. Looking into the crevices and ope ings, u find parts of the car that u can identify from all over the place, now side by side... rather than the tighter indistinguishable cube... u can still see the subframe connectors... the door collision bar, etc... u know things like that.

Believe it or not... on the calendar... 2moro is ONE YEAR since this horrible day... although today is my cars and coffee event... which is where I was enroute when it happened.... ugh... non happy anniversary.

Well even in the frigid cold today, I wanted to get the camaro table project going, and knowing that I will be out of commission for a bit, I drug her down to royal customs today and droppes her off. Told them to take their time and that I needed it done by spring... hopefully the next post will be the finished product.

Can u believe, at the end of this month, it will be 3 years since the crash date...

The camaro table project has been sitting behind the shop... just need the time and motivation, between work, life, health and school...
